NASCAR Champion Kyle Busch and Son Brexton Busch Gear Up for Thrilling KKM Challenge at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex
Belleville, IL. (8/8/2023) Displaying driving talent and family unity, NASCAR superstar Kyle Busch and his young racing prodigy son, Brexton Busch, are set to participate in the highly anticipated KKM Challenge at the Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex on September 6-9.
Kyle Busch, known for his exceptional skills on the NASCAR circuit, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, "I'm always up for new challenges and experiencing different forms of racing. The KKM Challenge, hosted by POWRi and renowned racing team Keith Kunz Motorsports, scheduled for September 6-9 will see Kyle Busch, a veteran in the racing world and a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, alongside his budding racing star son, Brexton Busch, taking on the challenging track at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex. This unique event marks an exciting expansion from Kyle's usual NASCAR endeavors and provides an incredible opportunity for Brexton to showcase his talent on a grand stage.
Brexton Busch, who has been making waves in the racing community at such a young age, shared his excitement, saying, "I've always looked up to my dad and wanted to follow in his footsteps. When: September 6-9 | Pits Open: 1:00 PM Daily | Hot Laps: 6:00 PM CST Daily.
• Wednesday, September 6th – Practice All Classes
• Thursday, September 7th – Split-Field Preliminary Night 1
• Friday, September 8th – Split-Field Preliminary Night 2
• Saturday, September 9th – Feature Night
Winners of each $10K to win finale events at the Sweet Springs’ KKM Challenge Race and the TMS Micro Mania will each receive automatic entry into Saturday’s Dash in the KKM Giveback Classic at Port City Raceway on October 21st. The KKM Giveback Classic winner at Port City Raceway will get the decision of the $15,000 lump sum prize or a ride in a Keith Kunz Motorsports entry at the Chili Bowl along with $7,500 cash from KKM and FloRacing.
Driver Registration is available online at https://www.myracepass.com/series/1572/registrations/7900 with an entry fee of $150 before August 21st; entries received after August 21st will be $200 for the POWRi Outlaw Non-Wings. A-Class Wing will be $125. Restrictor, and Jr Sprints divisions will be a $100 registration fee, each divisional entry deadline will be August 21st with a $50 late fee for entries processed after the deadline.
Pit-parking spots for the KKM Challenge at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex will be rented for the event with reserved parking for $100. Sweet Springs Motorsports Reserved Pit-Parking Map is available online at https://www.myracepass.com/series/1572/registrations/7900. Once parking registration is paid POWRi will contact entrants with confirmation of the pit-stall number.
