Rewerts, Lunsford, Benson shine at Sweet Springs
By Chris Hale (Sweet Springs, MO) -- weet Springs Motorsports Complex had another great weekend of racing. Despite competing with many other race tracks in our area, we had a good crowd and a full pit area.
Travis Rewerts of Des Moines Iowa, held off a hard-charging Garrett Hulsey and Chase Porter to take the Winged Outlaw win.

Braden Knipmeyer found his way to victory lane in the Restrictor class for the third time this young season. Xavier Doney was a less than a car length away for most of the race. Chase Brown came home in third.
Chris Koch out dueled a very fast Garrett Hulsey for the Winged A class win. Tyler Rennison made it a three way battle for the lead but came home third.
Brian Lunsford got the Non Wing win. Behind him Allan Koch held off his son Chris, who tried everything to get by his dad but ultimately finished in the third spot.
Once again Garrett Benson and Freddy Rowland battled hard for the win in the Junior class with Benson getting his third win in row. Rowland and Trey Zorn rounded out the podium.
Bill Killion got his second Sportsman win of the weekend with Eric Perkins and Noah Killion following close behind.
We will do it all over again next Saturday night.
